Play Cafe Intern

Description

The Nest is  the first play cafe to be opened in the Indianapolis area, serving children ages 0-6 and their caregivers. Currently we are in lease negotiations for our physical location, which will be near the downtown area.  I am looking for an intern to assist me with the on going developement of the business as well as preparing to open the doors to customers in early 2026.

Responsibilities

Responsibilites include assisting with developing marketing materials, phone calls to vendors, oversight of building build out, various tasks associated with the development of the business.  It is expected also that this person will help spread the word about The Nest via social media and word or mouth. 

Qualifications

The ideal intern will be able to work independently when necessary, think critically and problem solve, very trustowrthy and dependable.  Experience working in food service and or with children is also a plus!
