Event Planning Internship

Description

The Event Planning internship at Harvest Community Church involves supporting the coordination, execution and follow up of various church related events.  The events may range from weekly services, community outreach programs, youth activities and special events.  This position will work closely with the creative arts team to gain hands-on expereience in event coordination within a church setting, while supporting the ministry's mission and fostering community engagement.  

Responsibilities

The tasks/projects that this position will entail are working collaboratively to provide event planning support, communication and promotion, volunteer coordination, event setup and execution and post-event follow up.  They will accomplish these tasks by heping to brainstorm ideas, develop and manage timelines, communicate with all parties involved, serve as point person and execute the vision of the team from inception to completion.  Some of the events will be Missions Week, Christmas services, At the Movies series and Easter services

Qualifications

The student should be interested in event planning, be organized, on time, reliable, creative and enjoy working with people.
