NuMedia Marketing is an Indianapolis-based agency that combines traditional and online marketing efforts to enhance business communications. We develop focused communications that create and maintain engaging business relationships while bringing enterprise-level solutions to small and mid-sized businesses.
Our internship program provides real-world experience in business, marketing, and IT activities. The learning goals for interns are to raise awareness in day-to-day operations within small businesses, with short-term and long-term planning in mind, to develop critical thinking skills and productive work habits to help clients grow their business. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to transition from part-time to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Brainstorm lists of relevant topics and how to develop and execute them in a social media campaign.
- Utilize automated post-scheduling software to outline a client’s monthly content.
- Create blogs properly targeted for SEO and readability.
- Google Analytics/Adwords management
- Use Adobe Suite products such as InDesign and Premiere Pro to make both still and dynamic content.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field; Indiana college students are especially encouraged to apply.
- High school graduate.
- Proficiency with major social media platforms and familiarity with scheduling tools.
- Experience with automated post-scheduling software to plan and outline monthly client content.
- Basic knowledge of content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign and Premiere Pro), Microsoft Office 365 Desktop Suite, or similar tools for creating still and dynamic content.
- Ability to brainstorm and develop relevant social media campaign topics and execute them effectively.
- Experience or ability to create blogs targeted for SEO and readability.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and other analytics tools.
- Strong proofing skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Professional, pleasant demeanor with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business, club, or organization.
- Basic graphic design, video editing, and photography skills.
- Interest in marketing trends and social media innovation.
- Typing speed of 30+ words per minute.
