Description

We are seeking a motivated and driven Sales and Business Development Intern to join our Business Development team. This internship is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field and who is looking to gain hands-on experience in client outreach, relationship building, and sales operations. The Sales Intern will assist in generating leads, conducting market research, supporting client engagement activities, and contributing to the overall sales strategy of the firm.

  • Research and identify potential clients, partners, and new business opportunities.
  • Assist in outreach efforts via email, phone, and LinkedIn to schedule meetings and introductions.
  • Support preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
  • Track and update lead and contact information in the CRM system (LOXO ATS).
  • Collaborate with the team to refine sales messaging and outreach strategies.
  • Participate in virtual or in-person meetings as needed to support sales initiatives.
  • Help monitor and report on key sales metrics, pipeline activity, and conversion trends.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company’s values in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience or coursework in sales, marketing, or business development is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Comfortable making professional outreach calls and sending prospecting emails.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Loxo, Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
