Utility Groundman

Description

We are a member owned utility, that provides electricity within our territory. The intern will recieve mentorship from other journeymen linemen. The goals the intern will learn are what it takes to provide our consumers with power as well as being able to trouble shoot all types of power outages. 

Responsibilities

- Loading and unloading material for construction

- Assisiting with pole and conductor installation/removal, transformer work, and serive retoration during emergencies. 

- Learn and follow strict safety protocols

Qualifications

- Good motor skills

- Visual acuity

- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
