Description
This is a paid, part-time, field-based internship focused on ecological landscaping and grounds maintenance. Interns work outdoors at supervised residential, commercial, institutional, and community project sites.
Responsibilities
Interns assist with planting, mulching, pruning, soil preparation, and landscape maintenance while learning sustainable landscaping practices, job-site safety, and professional work habits.
Qualifications
Applicants should have an interest in sustainability, environmental studies, agriculture, landscaping, or a related field and be willing to perform physical, outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Interns must be able to follow safety instructions, communicate clearly, and work effectively as part of a small team. Reliable transportation to local job sites is required. Prior landscaping or horticultural experience is helpful but not required, as training will be provided.
