Responsibilities
Job shadowing, assisting mentor with license acredited state requirements.
Including understand room ratio, food serving, transition of activities, understanding small and large motor skills age appropriate activities. Experience how preschoolers learn, adapt, and adjust to the school environment. Assist when the class sits on the carpet, helping implement rules such as raising your hand, sitting properly, and listening while the teacher is speaking. Also help teach the children proper manners during meal times.

Qualifications

- Experience with children, CPR/first aid certification, strong communication skills, and a patient, nurturing attitude to support classroom instruction.
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, organization, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ensures the safety of the children entrusted in care
- Submit to a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical upon hire
- Maintains all state requirements for childcare workers
- Physical requirements the ability to lift children (25 lbs) and standing for prolong periods
