UpSkill Student Intern

Description

Students will work in one of two production areas with the same supervision as other employees. Training will occur in the first few weeks of employment and will be reviewed with management/supervisor as time goes on to ensure they are hitting defined goals. The following learning goals will hopefully occur: 

• Learn to work in a team environment.
• Learn how work flow can be improved or slowed down based on every team member doing their part to accomplish the tasks effectively or inaccurate. 
• Learn inventory management
• Learn to read material lists and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry and Wrap trim
• Print labels from computer
• Attach labels to correct bundles
• Identify the trim components by size, length, color correctly. 
• Ensure that quality and safety are top priorities

Qualifications

No required previous experience to perform these jobs.
