Position Summary

Centurion Land Title is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Escrow & Title Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the real estate closing process and the day-to-day operations of a title company. This internship will run from Wednesday, May 20th to Friday, August 7th, 2026.

The intern will work alongside experienced title and escrow professionals to gain practical knowledge in title searches, file preparation, closing coordination, and post-closing processes.

This position is ideal for students pursuing programs in real estate, finance, business administration, or legal studies who are interested in developing professional skills and gaining a comprehensive understanding of real estate transactions from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

  • Scanning, organizing, and maintaining documents and transaction files
  • Assisting with preparation of closing packages while analyzing trends
  • Supporting recording and post-closing processes 
  • Ensuring files are accurate, complete, and organized for closing while identifying any gaps or improvements needed
  • Collaborating with title and escrow staff to facilitate smooth transaction workflows. Suggest improvements to workflow to increase efficiency.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and document management abilities
  • Basic understanding of real estate closing processes (preferred)
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Interest in legal and financial aspects of real estate transactions

Experience and Training

  • Current undergraduate student enrolled in a program in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and document management systems
  • Demonstrated interest in the real estate or title industry

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop; talk and hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

  • Professional atmosphere in an office work environment.
  • Routinely uses office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinet and fax machine.
