Summer Content Production Intern
Description
Fivonaccie is a creative strategy agency in Indianapolis. We work with businesses on strategy, marketing, content, and products.
This intern works directly with the Presdient & CEO. I'm on every shoot and every footage review. Training is hands-on: how to frame a shot, where to put a mic, why a piece of B-roll works or doesn't. We'll meet weekly to review their work and once a month for a longer conversation about what they want to learn next. They'll also sit in on real content planning sessions and contribute ideas — they're not here to be ignored.
The goal for the summer is that they walk away able to run a basic shoot on their own, with footage in their portfolio that they can actually point to.
Responsibilities
- Operate cameras and phones to capture video during studio shoots and on-location content
- Capture B-roll and behind-the-scenes footage for The Golden Ratio Formula podcast and Fivonaccie's social channels
- Set up gear before shoots: tripods, lights, microphones, monitors
- Sit in on content planning sessions and contribute ideas
- Review raw footage with the founder after shoots to discuss what worked and what to do differently next time
- Take on small editing assignments as skills develop — rough cuts, simple assemblies in Premiere or CapCut
- Help maintain and organize studio equipment between shoots
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to Greenfield, IN
- Comfortable being around someone performing for a camera without visibly distracting them
- Shows up on time, every time
- A basic visual sense — if you can tell when a photo is crooked, you're qualified
- Genuine interest in media, video, journalism, marketing, or storytelling
- No prior production experience required
Learning Objectives
By the end of the summer, the intern should be able to:
- Set up and operate a basic single-camera video shoot independently, including camera, tripod, lavalier microphone, and key light
- Capture usable B-roll from a written shot list
- Frame a clean interview shot and medium shot without coaching
- Use Adobe Premiere or CapCut to assemble a rough cut from raw footage
- Communicate professionally with a creative director — take direction, ask clarifying questions, and push back constructively when needed
