Moreover, we provide payroll services and strategic solutions to help employers effectively utilize the power of people within their organizations.
The Human Resources (HR) and Payroll Internship will serve as a precursor to CorePlacement's Apprentice program that leads to a certification in both fields. The HR & Payroll Intern will receive on-the job training, technical instruction, and special projects to assist in providing support for the three (3) pillars of the agency: staffing, payroll, and consultation services. Technical instruction includes a foundational education in human resources and payroll while receiving mentorship from an experienced Senior Certified Professionnal, SHRM-SCP and payroll expert.
Responsibilities
The Human Resources & Payroll Intern will engage in special projects to enhance experiential learning and development, and/ or assist in the following:
1. Planning, processing, and providing employment, payroll, and administration services to clients in accordance with specified operating procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
2. Processing paperwork for new employees and entering employee information into the human resources management and/or payroll system.
3. Compiling and reviewing employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records to ensure accuracy or detect errors and reconcile discrepancies.
4. Billing, banking, computing wages, and processing and issuing employee paychecks accurately and timely.
5. Preparing, maintaining, and submitting employment and payroll related compliance reports.
Qualifications
Interest in Business Administration and willingness to learn.

2. Laws and regulations that affect human resources and payroll administration.
