Description
We are an insurance agency offering a high school internship focused on the marketing and day-to-day operations of a small insurance office. This opportunity will help the intern gain hands-on experience in business management, hiring and onboarding, employee engagement, community involvement, social media content creation, and telephone marketing. The intern will work closely with the business owner and key team members and will have access to a structured, prepared training curriculum.
Responsibilities
The intern will support a variety of hands-on responsibilities, including:
- Social media marketing and content creation
- Ordering and restocking office supplies
- Reaching out to apartment complex managers to build professional relationships
- Developing and presenting a capstone project based on their interests
- Calling current and prospective clients to schedule policy reviews
Qualifications

- Attention to detail: ensures information is accurate when scheduling, ordering supplies, and updating records.
- Integrity and confidentiality: understands the importance of privacy when handling insurance-related conversations.
