Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Specialist will work alongside PBTT management and engineers on hands on processes in an advanced manufacturing space. Daily tasks will include creating, formatting, and computing quality analytic data, assisting the engineering team in completing APQP and PPAP tasks, assisting the production team to ensure acceptable quality limits are met in a production setting, and completing projects assigned by the engineering team to ensure stability throughout the department.

Learning APQP and PPAP Procedures: Gain familiarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) methodologies. Understand the importance of these processes in ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction. CNC Machining: Acquire practical knowledge of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining techniques. Participate in operating CNC machines, interpreting blueprints, and optimizing machining processes for efficiency and precision. Metal Plating and Coating: Explore the techniques and principles underlying metal plating and coating. Assist in the preparation, application, and quality assessment of various plating and coating processes to enhance product durability and aesthetics. Quality Inspection: Learn the fundamentals of quality inspection methodologies. Engage in inspecting manufactured components, utilizing measurement tools, and adhering to quality standards to ensure compliance with specifications. Surface Finishing: Understand the significance of surface finishing in product aesthetics and functionality. Assist in surface finishing operations such as polishing, grinding, and deburring to achieve desired surface characteristics.
