About Kids Explore Robotics
Kids Explore Robotics is a growing STEM education company based in Carmel, Indiana. We provide fun, hands-on robotics programs for elementary and middle school students through afterschool clubs, workshops, camps, and community partnerships. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of innovators by helping students understand how and why robots work through engaging, project-based learning.
Position Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Part-Time Robotics Coaches to inspire students in Grades 1–8 through exciting, hands-on robotics activities. As a Robotics Coach, you will guide students as they build, explore, and discover STEM concepts in a fun and supportive environment. No prior teaching/coaching experience is required. We provide comprehensive training, curriculum, lesson plans, and all materials needed for success.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging robotics classes for students in Grades 1–8.
- Guide students through hands-on robot building and STEM activities.
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Help students troubleshoot and improve their robot projects.
- Set up and organize materials before class and assist with cleanup afterward.
- Represent Kids Explore Robotics professionally while working with schools, families, and community partners.
Qualifications
- Passion for working with children.
- Enthusiastic, dependable, and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in robotics, STEM, engineering, education, or technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to schools and program locations in Central Indiana.
- Experience working with children.
- Robotics, engineering, computer science, or STEM background.
- Education majors or future teachers are encouraged to apply.
