Costume Intern

Description

Manage distribution and collection of costumes during shows and performances. Sewing skills not required, but perferred.  Will work under the Administrative Director and Costume manager to learn how to effectively choose, organize, and ready the costumes for our upcoming October show.

Responsibilities

Create a costume plot from a template and fill it in with pieces/ costumes/ dancers. 

Help research new costumes needed. 

Source items from the costume room and online for dance pieces.

Help create, design, and sew costumes, as needed. 

Help organize the costumes by piece/ dancer. 

Help organize costumes for cleaning after the show. 

Help organize the costume room.

Qualifications

Costume design experience preferred but not required
