Sally Wolf: Making an IMPACT

Indiana INTERNnet celebrated internship excellence on February 26, 2019 at the 13th Annual IMPACT Awards Luncheon. Though the event is over, and the winners have been announced, we are continuing to celebrate the nomineesā€™ successes.

These are their stories.

Sally Wolf graduated from Miami University in the Spring of 2018 with a degree in psychology. She completed two internships in the summer of 2018 with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development on the Youth Initiatives.

 

Indiana INTERNnet: What made you interested in pursuing a masterā€™s degree?

 

Sally Wolf: Iā€™m currently in a Master of Arts program in Social Sciences, focusing in Psychology, at the University of Chicago. Iā€™ll graduate this June. Evolution of an Intern

As my time with Indiana INTERNnet is coming to an end, I wanted to extend my genuine gratitude and share the best parts about my evolution as an intern with everyone! Iā€™ve had such a rewarding and educational experience working with some of the best minds in Indianaā€™s workforce development and non-profit sectors. Indiana INTERNnet showed me not only how influential internship programs are for future students, but also showed me a deeper part of myself that values mentorship and personal development.

Diving into a new internship post-graduation was one of the easiest decisions Iā€™ve ever made. Unlike my peers from college, I didnā€™t graduate with a gleaming full-time offer from one of my favorite companies.
