About

EmployIndy is the Workforce Investment Board for Marion County, Indiana and operator of the one-stop system in the County. EmployIndy convenes community leaders to address important issues and strategically coordinates funding from federal, state and private sources to improve the skills of county residents and place them in jobs; develop a diverse, able workforce that meets the needs of existing and potential employers; and advance the region and its economy. This not-for-profit corporation carefully uses federal Workforce Investment Act funding to operate three strategically placed WorkOne centers while simultaneously seeking, securing, and administering grants from government and private sources to address pressing needs in the community and all of Central Indiana. We operate programs like Project Indy, Job Ready Indy, Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG), and Indy Achieves.
