Are you looking for an Engineering Internship with a chance to work with multiple disciplines and other global sites? Do you want to learn about development of products, build prototypes, test and analyze the results?
CTS has an openings for Engineering Intern Students at any grade level, working with the Accelerator Pedals, Electronics, and Actuators. We work with large global OEMS including Honda, Toyota, and Cummins.  Within our building we have Engineering, Electronics, Programming, Design, Testing, Prototype build,  Analysis labs, and Prototype Molding,  and over 125 years of operation in Elkhart, Indiana.

You will work with product design, product development, engineering documentation, prototype builds, and testing of the systems.    You’ll be able to see injection molding, learn how to analyze returned parts and solve problems using quality tools.  You’ll work with our local team in Elkhart, as well as teams in China, Mexico and Europe via email and TEAMs meetings.

Our jobs are primarily on-site, and hours are flexible during the school year, typically with 15+ hours per week.  During the summer, we offer 40 hours per week with standard working hours, and flexibility for time off.

Elkhart, Indiana is the home to CTS Elkhart Tech Center,  a research and development facility that is part of our Sensors and Mechatronics Business Unit.  At the ETC, we design, prototype and test a variety of automotive and commercial vehicle sensors, actuators and electronic accelerator pedals.  We develop global product for North America, Asia, Europe, and work with Engineering teams in Mexico, China and Czech Republic.    In addition to engineering and design, we also have injection molding in-house, warranty analysis, as well as a full product testing, a scientific analytical la,  and a  prototype build lab.  An Internship at CTS offers a wide range of experiences within one building!
