Creative Programming & Marketing Director Paint-your-own Pottery/Canvas Studio Internship

The Fired Arts Studio is a paint-your-own pottery and canvas painting studio in Kokomo, IN.  We are seeking an intern to work directly with our store manager to develop creative programming for our studios.  The intern will be respobsible for developing the creative calender and distributing on our social media platforms as well as maintaining all of our advertising/marketing efforts.  The intern will utilize local downtown association memberships, small business councils and various other collaborative resources to lay the foundation of the programming.

Responsibilities

The intern for Fired Arts Studio will work directly with the store manager and owner to develop summer camp programs, monthly workshops, off-site programming that highlight the products and services we offer to our customer base.  The intern will help with implementation of the programming and aid in the marketing & social media aspects.  Our intern will utilize industry resources to compile an organized resource guide for future creative programming for the studios.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be creative in nature with a well-organized demeanor.  Event planning, teaching, management, and business organization are all skills that would be beneficial for this position. Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, instagram and wix are bonus points.  The candidate must be willing to be on-site for 50% of the internship period, the remaining time can be utilized from a remote work location.  Canidadate must utilze their own lap top computer for work and have valid transportation.  Mileage reimbursement will occur for work-related travel.  This position will work directly with owner & manager of a local paint your own pottery studio to develop seasonal and on-going programs for the storefront.
