The Community Career Services Intern (CCSI) will provide vital support to the Community Career Services team by assisting with communications, data quality assurance, and program coordination tasks. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual interested in workforce development, communications, and data management. The CCSI will report to the Director of Community Career Services.

Responsibilities

  • Program Coordination and Project Management – 35%

Coordinate and manage events, meetings, and training sessions for various programs. Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of project timelines and deliverables. Schedule and coordinate site visits, compliance checks, and collaborative activities across service providers.

  • Grant Compliance and Technical Assistance – 25%

Provide technical assistance and guidance to service providers on grant compliance and enrollment processes. Support the integration of workforce development strategies with positive youth development practices. Document activities, prepare reports, and assist with grant documentation and audits.

  • Data Monitoring and Reporting – 15%

Track, analyze, and report KPIs and grant performance data to ensure alignment with grant objectives.

  • Community Engagement and Relationship Management – 15%

Maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, ensuring strong communication and shared accountability.

  • Marketing and Outreach – 10%

Develop and distribute marketing and outreach materials to promote program goals and services. Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required, some college coursework in a related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in program or project coordination, preferably in nonprofit sector involvement.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities with increasing levels of accountability.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred for local travel.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable using virtual meeting platforms and data reporting tools.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, dependable, and relationship oriented.
