Throughout this 12-week summer internship, you will work closely with the entire Damar Communications Team, playing a key role in supporting both internal and external volunteers. You’ll collaborate with a team of highly qualified professionals, gaining exposure to our unique client population and learning the ins and outs of event coordination and volunteer management. coaching. Responsibilities

• Performs duties as assigned
• Create a welcoming experience for volunteers and support them during volunteer activities
• Conduct an interview and write a volunteer feature for the quarterly e-news
• Provide high-quality hospitality for volunteers and event guests
• Maintain a respectful and positive attitude when responding to the needs of others

Qualifications

• At least sophomore standing in college
• Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements
• Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
• Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
