Description

We are an industrial supplier who provides integrated solutions to consumers, utlizing order forecasts & bulk product sales and facilitating transfer of desired goods. The intern will assist the company in many aspects and aims to provide real world experience in a business sales setting. Develop critical thinking skills. Learn about business management, logistics, and distribution. Provide organizational skills with warehouse inventory and project work. Work with Warehouse and Sales. Prepare shipment of goods with 3rd party transportation networks. Track and control inventory. Process payments from customers using various methods. Opportunity to learn eBay process and update website.

Responsibilities

Major Duties and Responsibilities

-Answer telephone and direct to appropriate person or take message

-Receive and distribute stock items

-Use accounting software to enter checks, run reports, and other etc.

-Assist Outside Sales as needed

-Assist Materials Coordinator as needed

-Create customer advertising packets

-Assist and back-up Warehouse Coordinator with shipping & receiving; inventory counts, shelving and organizing inventory, cleaning, tracking resin tanks and other warehouse duties as needed

-File President’s invoice copies and other documents as required

 

Minor Duties and Responsibilities

-Cross train with warehouse and materials to handle day-to-day administrative duties (filing, expediting)

-List obsolete items on eBay store

-Edit and update website

-Handle special projects

-Explore social media marketing areas, Google Ads, Facebook Ads etc.

-Manage product labeling for stock items

Qualifications

Qualifications for Job

-College (any year)

-Reliable transportation to and from work

-Basic computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.)

-Ability to work a consistent part-time schedule

Physical Requirements

-Lifting packages up to 75 lbs.; storing or pulling product, requires lifting & reaching (only required to assist warehouse)

-Manual and automatic lift jacks (only required to assist warehouse)

-Shipping packages, handling knife cutter, tape gun etc. (only required to assist warehouse)

-Unpacking and preparing skids for shipment (only required to assist warehouse)
