Responsibilities

NU World Outreach is currently offering one unpaid intership opportunity to assist staff with business development.  Details include:  Summer, approximately June through August 2024.  Flexible calendar dependent on the Intern's schedule.  This will be a virtual Internship supervised by the Executive Director and Communications Director.  The Intern will be responsible for their own computer and access to WIFI.  A collaborative work environment and mentoring relationship offered.

This Intern will assist in expanding not for profit services that are provided.  Help in the creation of marketing strategies, business to business contacts and outreach for donations and in-kind goods.   Assist in the evaluation of partnership opportunities. And, contribute to LAU's short and long term vision and goals.

Candidate will have the opportunity to learn:  business development and community outreach skills; marketing and advertising skills for a not for profit organization; experience networking and future business opportunities and gain experience in working with diverse populations.

Qualifications

Collaboration and coordination across people and groups; organization and attention to details; marketing and communications strategy development; idea expression, both verbal and written; technology, and a customer service mindset.  Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects is a must.
