Responsibilities

ABSORB Magazine is currently offering one unpaid internship opportunity to assist staff with business development and sales.  Details include:  Summer, approximately June through August 2024.  Flexible calendar dependent on the Intern's schedule.  This will be a virtual Internship under direct supervision from the President/Owner.  The Intern will be responsible for their own computer and access to WIFI.  A collaborative work environment and mentoring relationship offered.

The Business Development Intern will:

Assist in expanding products and services.

Help create marketing strategies, business to business contacts, sales leads and negotiations.

Assist in developing and evaluating partnership opportunities.

Help in contributing to ABSORB Magazine's short and long term vision and goals.

This intern with gain "real life" experiences and opportunities to learn:  business development and community outreach skills; marketing and advertising skills;  experience networking and future business opportunities and gain experience in working with diverse populations.

Qualifications

Collaboration and coordination across people and groups; organization and attention to details; marketing and communications strategy development; idea expression, both verbal and written; technology, with preference to social media, and customer service mindset.  Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects is a must.
