The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Intern to join our team and contribute to the optimization of our supply chain operations. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to engage with various facets of the supply chain, including purchasing, warehousing, and logistics. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, gain valuable experience, and drive efficiency while working on a project that directly influences our business's success.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to assist in sourcing materials, evaluating suppliers, and maintaining inventory levels to meet operational needs.
- Support warehouse management by ensuring accurate inventory counts, organizing storage, and optimizing space utilization.
- Assist in logistics coordination, including transportation arrangements, delivery schedules, and tracking shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction opportunities, and operational enhancements.
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to gain insights into supply chain management best practices and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Education – Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications – NA
- Professional Experience – 0-3 years of experience
- Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
- Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and contribute innovative ideas
