The Role

We are looking for a motivated and strategic problem solver to join the Peterman Brothers' accounting team! You will learn and further develop essential functions in the accounting department, including servicing tickets.  Gaining exposure to a large part of the business, you will be included in more departmental projects as our program continues. 

Responsibilities

  • Learn the Service Ticket process, our entry level process in the department, but this provides exposure as to how the Accounting Department works and interacts with other departments in the company
  • Work with the Service Ticket team to process invoices daily
  • As you gain experience and show aptitude, you may be able to progress to the other categories
  • Other categories could include: zero dollar tickets, revenue tickets, tickets by market, tickets in acquisition locations, adjusted invoices, batching invoices, possible interaction with customers, being involved in special projects
  • This is an in-person role, non-remote, non-hybrid; conversion to hybrid is possible if training goals & timeline were met

Qualifications

  • Education – Currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Ability to multi-task, follow up and adapt
    • Excellent communication and people skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) would be helpful
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspect of job responsibilities
    • Meet daily deadlines
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Committed to learning and growth
