Interns will run a small classroom, developing and implementing curriculum and activities that are age appropriate, fun, and engaging under the guidance of the director with support from the local Early Childhood Coalition director.

New Beginnings Child Care serves children ages infant to Pre-K year-round, and the interns will be tasked with the pilot of a reimagined summer school age program that is self-sufficient in financial and staffing regards. Interns will be challenged to learn the regulations of the industry and adapt programming to fit within an infant to 5-years program, including the scheduling of various age groups moving through shared spaces and using shared resources.
