Description

TSC is a non-profit organization that engages youth in STEM principles through accessible, nature-related experiences with a commitment to those who are underrepresented in STEM careers. TSC offers experiential STEM programming for youth both in person and virtually, fueling dreams and inspiring futures in STEM. In collaboration with community partners, we deliver award-winning, relevant services that empower and impact youth for today and tomorrow. TSC is committed to being a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for planning and executing campaigns and events, including TSC's signature fundraising gala, .  
  • Assist in the daily operations of TSC’s Advancement Team to meet or exceed development and programmatic metrics.
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping.
  • Help advance TSC’s brand awareness in all aspects of the work.
  • Contribute to the success of TSC’s mission and vision by performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Desire to move the mission and vision of TSC forward
  • Driven, patient, and hard-working
  • Demonstrate creativity while taking directions and balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Enthusiasm to learn, grow, and take initiative
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also independently
  • Coachable, flexible, and proactive in anticipating needs and solving problems
  • Availability to work full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm), the end of May through the middle of August 2026 (off July 5-July 10)
  • Studying or experience in fundraising, hospitality, or communication-related fields
  • Capacity to work with communications and database tools (e.g., Social Media platforms, Canva, MailChimp, Bloomerang, etc.)
  • Ability to use task management tools (Sheets, Asana)
  • Experience with or ability to learn Google applications (Drive, Docs, Slides, etc.)
  • Events management experience is a plus
  • Photography/videography experience a plus
  • Successful completion of a background check and TSC onboarding and required training (CPR, Safeguarding Youth, and other role-specific training)
