Description

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking someone to join their IT Department as a Help Desk / End-User Support internThis part-time position will be 29 hours or less per week.

This intern will work directly and be supervised by our IT Specialist in coordinate the day to day needs for the organizations users.  The intern will get hands on experience in managing 50-100 end point users and gain valuable knowledge in helping manage the IT needs of 14 location organization.

Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for handling incoming support calls and tickets. 

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace common hardware and software issues.
  • Perform tests and evaluations on new software and hardware.
  • Provide support to users and be the first point of contact for error reporting. 
  • Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability. 
  • Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner.
  • Respond to end-user issues via phone, email, and chat. 
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues. 
  • Install and configure workstations.
  • Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair PC hardware and computer peripherals.

This individual could go on site to one of our 14 locations to troubleshoot issues from time to time. 

Qualifications

Microsoft Office 365 experience is a plus.
