Description
This role provides many learning opportunities for the young professional. As a customer service representative in a small agency, you will work directly with the owner and supervisor on maintaining our core values as a family focused insurance agency. With over 20 years in the corporate arena, I have developed many young leaders and prepared them for entering the workforce with Professional Acumen, HR, Marketing and Small Business experience that can be directly applied to post college interviews.
The fundamentals taught are communication, professionalism, client relationship building, independent problem solving and creative project management.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with new and existing customers
- Complete Farmers online training prior to starting
- Be available and on time to your shifts remote and in office
- Be comfortable with online / internet applications
- Review and follow up on alerts / customer questions
- Answer incoming calls to the office
- Write and mail thank you letters on behalf of the office producers
- Prospect for sellers and schedule sales meetings for sellers
Qualifications
This internship requires someone who is punctual and is looking to grow their work experience in a professional environment. Basic computer understanding is needed and being comfortable speaking to the agencies customers.
