The Dometic Internship Program is a professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to a student’s field of study or career interest. Our program gives students the opportunity to collaborate with team members, to have a meaningful project that allows you to have impact, career exploration and development, to learn new skills, and get to know other interns. Each intern is assigned a mentor and be provided with opportunities to interact with other interns throughout the summer.

Position Overview:

The Business Development Intern will support and drive initiatives related to the creation of reports and sales analytics by:

  • Identify existing RVOEM customers who would be candidates to utilize Dometic D4B in the 4th quarter of 2024. E commerce team to provide existing customer list for review of current D4B processes for OEM customers.

Project measurables

  • Identify key candidates for D4B
  • Compile list of Key functions needed for RVO customers

Anticipated Output

  • Process un-assigned RVO customers to D4B
  • Reduce inefficiency in customer service process
  • Maintain existing CS levels
  • Increase revenue due to higher margins and increased sales

This position reports to the Business Development Manager RVO.  

Responsibilities

  • Contact RVO customers about Dometic D4B
  • Identify Possible candidates for Dometic D4B
  • Obtain and log customer feedback pros/cons of D4B
  • Identify current process within D4B that are not RVO customer friendly
  • Add an RVO specific rolling screen about products
  • Add additional information within D4B that is specific to RVOEM
  • Quantify and qualify the percentage increase in sales through E-commerce

Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in a college or university seeking a degree. The following programs are preferred – Pursuing a degree in Business Administration
  • Excel and Power Point Competency
  • Prior internship experience (preferred)
