Description
Position Summary:
The Fraud Investigations Intern will gain experience in the Fraud Investigations field by providing support to the FRAML team. This position will assist with a variety of special projects and support functions designed to achieve the overall strategic objectives of the Fraud department.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work with Fraud Investigations team and other appropriate business units to create a fraud risk assessment
- Assisting management with fraud risk assessment and fraud reporting projects
- Meet with various business units to determine what fraud monitoring is currently being conducted and how concerns get reported to Fraud Investigations
- Identify gaps in processes
- Aggregate data into one single risk assessment
- Assist with building out controls, as needed
- Work with Fraud Investigations and various business units to incorporate departmental reporting into the fraud monitoring system
- SharePoint projects – adding resources, maintenance, etc.
- Additional projects as needed
Knowledge/Skills:
- Accountable for timely completion of assigned projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word)
- Accountable for the quality of work provided, documentation and follow-up with adherence to Everwise’s service expectations.
- Accountable for maintaining the strictest of confidentiality
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Currently attending a college or university and have taken the intermediate level courses typically in the third year of study.
- Pursuit of degree in Business preferred.
