Description
Position Summary:
The Service Desk Intern will gain experience in the Information Technology field by providing support to the Service Desk team. This position will assist with a variety of special projects and support functions designed to achieve the overall strategic objectives of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- PC and equipment refresh for Retail and Back Office locations
- Configuring and deploying devices
- Removing and installing equipment
- Testing equipment
- Supporting end users
- Performing branch inventory
- Application Clean-Up, verifying and removing inactive accounts from systems that IT support manages
- Asset Management such as device and peripheral inventory, cleaning and organizing stockrooms and cages, cleaning and testing equipment
- Providing general IT support by assisting end users with technical issues and inquiries, and updating documentation
- Utilizing our ITSM to track tickets and requests
- Potential to travel to various branches for onsite troubleshooting needs
Knowledge/Skills:
- Accountable for timely completion of assigned projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Products and Dell Accountable for the quality of work provided, documentation and follow-up with adherence to Everwise’s service expectations.
- Accountable for maintaining the strictest of confidentiality
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Currently attending a college or university and have taken the intermediate level courses typically in the third year of study.
- Pursuit of degree in Computer Science preferred
