Description
King’s Play Cafe is a family-friendly entertainment and play center that creates a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children and families. Our work-based learning program gives the learner hands-on experience supporting event planning and coordination in a customer-focused business setting. The learner will receive direct supervision, training, and mentorship from the owner/manager and designated staff members, who will provide guidance on event planning, customer communication, organization, teamwork, and workplace expectations. The learner will also learn how to assist with party and event preparation, guest experience, and professional communication. Learning goals for the learner include developing skills in communication, organization, customer service, problem-solving, time management, and teamwork, while gaining a better understanding of how events are planned and delivered in a family entertainment business.
