Christian based media company seeks enthusiastic journalist to research and develop positive, purpose-filled stories to uplift, educate, and empower Christ believers. We believe in using our skills and talents to inform and encourage members of the Body, and we would like to add an individual to our team who can help further our news media ministry.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Reporting: Conduct thorough research to uncover newsworthy stories and gather accurate information through interviews, investigations, and other sources.
  
  
• Writing: Craft compelling and engaging news articles, features, and reports in a clear, concise, and captivating manner.
  
  
• Interviews: Conduct interviews with relevant stakeholders, experts, and individuals to gather diverse perspectives and insights.
  
  
• Multimedia Content: Collaborate with multimedia teams to incorporate visual elements, videos, and interactive components to enhance storytelling.
  
  
• Fact-Checking: Ensure the accuracy of information presented in articles through rigorous fact-checking processes.
  
  
• Adherence to Style Guidelines: Maintain consistency with editorial guidelines, style, and tone to uphold the company's standards.
  
  
• Deadline Management: Work efficiently under tight deadlines, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced news environment.

Qualifications

• Study focused in journalism, communications, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Excellent research and investigative abilities.
• Familiarity with multimedia storytelling, including video and interactive content.
• Knowledge of current events, global affairs, and cultural trends.
