Description
Arcamed is a medical manufacturing company dedicated to serving our community and fostering growth among employees and students alike. We are committed to providing training that helps individuals excel in their professions and continue developing their skills.
Our internship program is designed with a focus on personalized growth and hands-on learning. Each intern receives a specialized training plan crafted by their manager and HR, tailored to meet their individual goals and areas of interest. Interns work closely with their manager and supervisor, as well as other team members, to gain practical experience. At least once a month, the intern will meet with their manager to review progress and discuss any feedback or insights, fostering an open environment where interns are encouraged to share their own reflections for mutual growth.
In the role of Apprentice CI Associate, for example, some of the key learning goals include taking ownership of projects involving the Cricut and 3D printer. Interns will also engage in problem-solving alongside team members to address challenges that arise in day-to-day operations. This immersive and collaborative experience aims to develop technical skills, critical thinking, and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
The Apprentice CI Associate at Arcamed will have the opportunity to work on a variety of hands-on and technical tasks that extend beyond the typical responsibilities of a standard employee. Their role is structured to provide meaningful learning experiences while ensuring administrative tasks remain under 25%.

3. Hands-on Experience with CNC Programming and 3D Printing:
- The intern will have the chance to engage in basic CNC programming tasks and 3D printing operations. They will assist in producing work-holding devices and other components, which will give them valuable experience in advanced manufacturing techniques.

Under the guidance of senior technicians, the intern will also participate in creating and modifying basic blueprints, allowing them to apply GD&T principles in real-world manufacturing scenarios.
Through these diverse responsibilities, the intern will develop key technical skills, gain industry-specific knowledge, and build problem-solving capabilities while being actively involved in day-to-day operations.
