Integrity Learning Center is looking for a Registered Behavior Technician Intern to join our growing team! We are working on exciting new developments at our Plainfield, Indiana location, and we're offering this position as an opportunity to grow with our company. 

This is a highly educational opportunity for any student looking to learn more about the field of ABA as it relates to children on the Autism spectrum. In addition to this being a paid internship, we also offer the opportunity for you to gain your RBT certification during your time with the company. This certification remains with you even after your internship is completed and will allow you to pursue many employment opportunities during school breaks as you pursue your degree. 

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include implementing behavioral programs, maintaining graphs and data collection, and assisting with daily self-help skills.

- Demonstrate a commitment to the values of Integrity Learning Center daily and display good judgment and decision-making skills

-Provide 1:1 direct instruction based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis for children with autism

-Execute acquisition and mastered programs prescribed by the client’s treatment team

-Maintain data collection in a detailed, accurate, consistent and timely manner

-Implement appropriate behavior management techniques as prescribed by the clients behavior intervention plan

-Engage clients in meaningful play during breaks

-Take and maintain detailed behavior notes, documentation, data, etc.

-Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment

-Maintain effective and professional communication with team members, management, and clients families

-Exercise confidentiality and discretion pertaining to the work environment

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate is someone who is:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4 year college program
  • Majoring in a related field such as: Psychology, ABA, Education, Early Childhood, Counseling, Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy
  • Able to provide a 2 consecutive semester commitment (ex. summer and fall)
  • Passionate about helping others, especially children
  • Available for 20+ hours per week
  • Very dependable
  • Has experience working with children
