Description

Training will be provided by owners and supervisors.  We will have weekly meetings to discuss goals for the following week and to provide any help to the employee.  This meeting is normally on Monday at 11 am. This will be in person or via Zoom meetings. We have leads for the employee to use for calling and email. 

Responsibilities

The position of sales associate consists of learning sales by assisting customers throughout the buying process. As a front-liner, the sales associate represents the voice of the business and is the first to interact with customers. The role of the sales associate supports and contributes to store productivity and profitability through customer service excellence, consistent brand experience, and the ability to build emotional connection and loyalty with the customer. Specific responsibilities include greeting customers when they enter the store, and helping customers find specific services.

 

 

Tasks

 

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance and information on product features;
  • Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions.
  • Follow and achieve the department’s sales goals.
  • Maintain conditions and cleanliness of your assigned area.
  • Actively greet and seek out customers by calling and email.
  • Inform customers of the promotions offered.
  • Have knowledge of products offered and discuss available options.
  • Process points of sale (POS) purchases.
  • Cross-sell products.
  • Handle returns of merchandise.
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications and requirements

 

  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative, or similar role;
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Track record of achieving sales quota.
  • Hands-on experience with POS transactions.
  • Familiarity with inventory procedures.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.
  • Associate degree or higher preferred
